PERSILAT released Pencak Silat Competition Rules & Regulations Version 6. This version was decided in Founding Member's Meeting on August 11, 2023, or weeks after the 19th World Pencak Silat Championship (WPSC) at Melaka, Malaysia. Significant change in the rules is that pulling with 2 hands in order to making dropping technique (making point) that previously "allowed", is now "not allowed". This change is made to avoid similarity with technic of other martial arts. Other change is the composition of first and second-tier protest committee. Protest Commissioner/VAR is added to the first tier while Technical Delegate move from first to second-tier protest committee. This new version was used at the International Pencak Silat Indonesia Open Championship 13-17 August 2022 at Padepokan Pencak Silat TMII, Jakarta, Indonesia.
